The Resplendent Life And Times of GAYtam Dambekodi - II

Its evident... one post proved to be too incapable a grandstand to his glory. I'm not sure a second one would suffice either. But I choose to try nevertheless, for it'd be a real shame to let such a preeminent character be lost amongst the multitudes of history. So lets start off where we cessated (if there IS such a word)...

GAYtam is one among the very few of the enthroned souls in CS who actually has a romantic life. Its not easy, I tell you. Carrying a nerdmax image AND having a romantic life is unheard of... atleast till we saw him. In a place where I've seen sane guys like Alok crib that CS is virtually full of non-males (read: females), GAY managed to get a sane partner... none other than Alok himself. But there's a demand for sane guys in CS, you see, so there was a contention for Alok, until GAY finally managed to fight with all his manly valor and monopolize him... well, atleast we thought he did. Nevertheless, some of us feel there still exists this filmy love triangle there for all to see.

Hold your breaths, cuz I have a stupefying and/or appalling piece of information for you. GAy wants to get rid of ALL his nerdiness AND gayness by the end of this semester. I feel we ought to respect his decision, but I also feel we must nevertheless grieve the loss of such a gilt-edged character. What prompted him to arrive at such decision, I do not know. But one thing I know, its a behemothic erratum, this decision of his. It sure is a damnation to relinquish one's own singularity on purpose.

He wants to prove his non-gayness by dating a female by the end of this sem. How he decided to do it, let me enlighten you with. He chose to charm the fairer sex by surfing for tips on dating sites. Only, if all men could be so sensitive...

When he figured it wouldn't work, he asked me to set him up with a date on 14th, but blessed as I was to christen him with names like Goatee, Goat and GAy, I doubt my abilities as to find a girl for a character so inviolable as his. After all, it takes almost a herculean effort and truly divine powers to find someone who'd complement his persona. After all, GAy is the onliest.

Oh, I was SO enraptured by his sui generis qualities, I was tempted to take this further to a third post. But I checked myself and decided to conclude it now. After all, some things are better said unsaid.

Sarcasm aside, I'd like to say, Gautam is one of the most decent guys I've ever met, and a great friend for life. I did this (with his consent) as an attempt at bringing out all the inside jokes and adventurous doings of the (few sane persons left of the) CS lot. I think some of those few could relate to what I'm talking of. By the way, all the things mentioned in both posts are factually correct.
